2025 Academic Surgical Congress Karaoke Contest Rules
Get ready to showcase your vocal talents and have a blast at the 2025 Academic Surgical Congress Karaoke Contest! Here’s everything you need to know:
Team Selection:
- First Come, First Serve: Teams will be selected on a first-come, first-serve basis. Don’t wait too long—sign up as soon as possible!
- Deadline to Submit: Please submit no later than Friday, January 31, 2025.
- Team Size: Each team can have 2-4 members.
- Team Type: Teams can be institute-specific or a group of people coming together. Feel free to get creative with your team name!
- Maximum Teams: A total of 4 teams will be selected, so act fast!
- Selection Notifications: All teams who submitted will be notified of their selection no later than Wednesday, February 5, 2025.
- Tickets: All team members are required to have a ticket to the Celebration Event. Please register and purchase tickets here. Already registered? Email [email protected] to add a Celebration ticket to your registration!
Performance Schedule:
- There will be 2 separate karaoke performance times during the Celebration Event.
- Each performance will feature 2 teams performing their chosen songs.
- Selected Teams are required to report to the the front of the Theater 5 minutes prior to performance time.
Song Selection:
- Each team will have the freedom to choose their own song for the performance. Choose wisely—this is your moment to shine!
Scoring:
- Crowd Scoring: The audience will vote to determine the winners. Bring your best energy, and let the crowd be the judge!
Prizes:
- The top-performing team will win exclusive ASC merchandise—a perfect memento for your musical victory!
