ASC Reflection Room

A central theme of the 2023 Academic Surgical Congress is mental health and suicide prevention among medical professionals, particularly surgeons.

The lapel ribbons you see at Registration are in support of mental health awareness and suicide prevention.

The Reflection Room (Room 333) is a safe and quiet space at the meeting venue to allow us an opportunity to remember and reflect.

I would like to thank Dr. Imani McElroy for her efforts in putting bringing this vision to light.
